Welcome to the Sarasota Sailing Squadron SCOW page. This website was created to facilitate communication within the group of sailors that race scow sailboats in Sarasota Bay.
The “Connect” menu item will allow you to join the group and supply your contact information.
The “Crew Finder” menu item is the place to go to match up people looking to crew with skippers looking for crew.
The “Calendar” menu item shows our events (mostly regattas).
The “Alerts” menu item allows you to sign up for text messages from the fleets. Text messages will generally consist of important messages such as “no racing today due to high winds”.
The “gallery” menu item contains interesting pictures of our group.
The “Contact” menu item allows you to send a message to the fleet captains.
The E Fleet races every Wednesday afternoon at 1pm and about once per month on Saturday.
The MC Fleet races every Friday afternoon at 1pm and about twice per month on Saturday.
